Kejriwal said in a tweet, "We have started distributing kits of essential items like salt, spices, oil, sugar, soap, etc. They are given free to all along with monthly rations. We cannot let the poor be troubled in this difficult time. "

The Government of Delhi has been providing twice the amount of ration per person per month since May, keeping in mind the outbreak and lockdown of Corona.

Along with rations, 'Chief Minister Corona Relief Kit' is also being distributed in May.

This kit contains 1 kg refined oil, 1 kg chickpeas, 1 kg sugar, 1 kg salt, 200 grams turmeric powder, 200 grams chili powder, 200 grams coriander powder, and two soaps. This kit is being made available to both ration cardholders and people who are getting free ration despite having no card.
