Bihar Election 2020 Date News: Voting to be held on October 28, November 3 and 7, results will be out on November 10


 Bihar Assembly Elections

 First Phase Voting - October 28

 Second Phase Voting - November 3

 Third phase voting - November 7

 Election will be held in three stages

 Phase 1 - 71 seats, 31,000 polling stations

 Phase 2 - 94 seats, 42,000 polling stations

 Phase III - 78 seats, 33.500 polling stations

 Corona victims will be able to cast votes

 Corona victims will be able to vote at the time of voting.  Separate arrangements will be made for this.  Digital marketing will be done in the same way and things like sabun, hand sanitizer will be arranged at every polling booth.

 Polling will be one hour more

 This time the Election Commission has kept more than an hour to vote.  This time voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm.  However, this will not be done in Naxalite affected areas.  Only five people have been allowed from home to home for the campaign.

 This time enrollment can also be filled online.  Only two people will be present at the venue during the nomination and moreover, politicians or activists are not allowed to join hands during campaigning.  With this, the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has come into force in the state.  The Commission has already made elaborate arrangements to ensure effective implementation of the MCC guidelines.

 Use of masks, sanitizers and PPE kits

 A total of 243 seats are to be contested in Bihar.  The term of the assembly will end on November 29 in the state.  Considering Corona, the number of polling booths and manpower has been increased.  Six lakh PPE kits will be used during the election.  In addition, 46 lakh masks, seven lakh hand sanitizers and six lakh face shields will be used.
